Congratulations! Children are naturally drawn to music, which makes Musikgarten both fun and educational!
Musikgarten of Tallahassee began in 2001 and continues to be locally owned. Our classes offer a comprehensive, sequential plan for the musical development of your little one from infant through age 5. Music is taught and learned through emersion, just as in learning language. Each of our classes fits the developmental needs of the child. Class time is educational, fun and purposeful. Favorite songs, dances and activities are revisited throughout each class building on what each child has mastered making successful learning easier.
Home materials are integral to Musikgarten curriculum and designed to continue musical play and learning at home. For each class, families receive high quality CD recordings - from folk to classical, jazz to world music performed by outstanding musicians and fine children's choir - a parent's music and activity book and age-appropriate instruments, sized just right for little hands!
